“As the Sheriff of Minnehaha County I have had the
opportunity to work with CBM since they started with the county in 1997.
I have found them to be very cooperative to work with and they have done
an outstanding job of providing a high quality, cost-effective food
service program for our county.”

Choosing a Sioux Falls firm could reduce the county’s food service
costs by at least one-third. Batcheller, fellow supervisor Maurice Welte,
Woodbury County Sheriff David Amick and jail staff traveled to Sioux
Falls last week to observe the operation of CBM, a food service provider
that serves jails in Sioux Falls and Rapid City, and other corrections
agencies. “When we saw it, it looked like a very efficient
operation...we think we can save $3 per inmate,” Batcheller said.
